Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Workplace – Workshop for community groups

The world of work is changing faster than ever, necessitating Irish language groups to keep pace.

Glór na nGael is organising a workshop on artificial intelligence on Tuesday, 27th February at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Athlone. This workshop is aimed at community groups, Bailte Seirbhísí Gaeltachta (Gaeltacht town service) committees, Irish language networks, and Language Planning Officers.

Dr. Eoghan Mac Conaill Óig, Assistant Professor of Business and Chair of MSc in Management & Digital Business with Fiontar and the School of Irish at Dublin City University, will be the guest speaker for the day. He will cover topics including eHealth, trust, and privacy, with a focus on artificial intelligence. A question and answer session will follow.

An information session from Foras na Gaeilge with questions and answers will also take place on the day. Workshops like this are frequently facilitated by Glór na nGael, particularly for community groups who are under the Scéim Forbartha Líonraí Gaeilge. It presents a great opportunity for Irish language groups to come together and learn from each other.
