Carrolls Irish Gifts launch “Fáilte 2024”

Carroll’s Irish Gifts have launched the “Fáilte 2024” competition. “Fáilte ” is open to established new businesses, small businesses, designers, makers and entrepreneurs operating in the gifts, jewellery, food or clothing sectors.

‘As Gaeilge’, a company registered with our GRADAIM Gnó na hÉireann scheme won the “Fáilte” competition in 2023. “As Gaeilge” is located in Belfast. Rachael Brady established the company in 2021.  The company’s goal is to attract people to the Irish language using their products. They sell mugs and artwork with Irish slogans and they can be found here:

“As Gaeilge” won two silver medals in the Marketing & Branding and Service in Irish sections on the Gradam Gnó na hÉireann scheme. They create plenty of content  in Irish on instagram (@asgaeilge) where their products can be seen.  Equally there is also a service in Irish available from the company.

“Fáilte” Competition:

  • The Winner of Fáilte 2024 will have their products  in Carroll’s Irish Gifts stores nationwide and have their brand available online on the Carrolls Irish Gifts platforms.
  •  Carroll’s Irish Gifts team of industry experts will provide a suite of advice and support services to the winning business Overall the prize is worth €20,000.
  • Applicants should be over  eighteen years of age. The applicant’s products should come under the  gifts, jewellery, food or clothing sectors. The company must be located on the island of Ireland. The winner will need to be able to increase the manufacture of their products if necessary.
