Glór na nGael are now accepting grant applications from clubs registered with The Joe McDonnagh Foundation.
Grants of up to €400 are available to clubs participating in the language scheme. Projects and events which encourage the use and learning of the Irish Language among the club community will be eligible for support. The fund will provide €2 match funding for every €1 put towards eligible projects by the club. The maximum award made
in any funding round will be €400, allowing for a total project spend of €600 including the club’s contribution.
The grant scheme is only open to registered clubs. Any interested clubs should contact Frainc Mac Cionnaith to discuss registering with the Foundation. To qualify, clubs must be registered and applications submitted by 17:00 on 10 April.
The Joe McDonagh Foundation is a support service provided by Glór na nGael and the Gaelic Athletic Association to GAA clubs wishing to further the Irish Language in their community.
